Trading Rules
Applicable entity: XIN WANG GOLDEN COMPANY LIMITED. Applicable products: XAUUSD, XAGUSD and the corresponding approved accounts. These rules are to be read together with the client agreement, product information, fee schedule and risk disclosure. Before trading, check your applicable account and current notices, and be clear about your trading relationship, funding arrangements and order execution conditions.
1Bid/ask quotes and price units
Buy orders normally use the Ask and sell orders the Bid; closing a buy position is a sell and closing a sell position is a buy. The difference between the two sides is the spread, and quotes and charts may be displayed differently. Check the price type shown on the chart, the order direction and the corresponding trigger condition. Website prices and external screenshots are for reference only and are not necessarily executable quotes.
Minimum price change, platform points, contract size per lot and USD amounts are different measures. Any fee shown in points or per lot must be converted using that product’s units; don’t read the minimum quote increment as a fixed spread.
2P/L calculation and separate charges
With the same settlement currency and a linear contract, gross P/L on a buy is usually (closing sell price − opening buy price) × contract size × lots; on a sell it is usually (opening sell price − closing buy price) × contract size × lots. When actual fill prices on both sides are used, the spread is already reflected in the difference and is not deducted again. Commission, swaps, currency conversion and other separate items are added under the current rules.
Volume example: 0.01 lot of gold equals 1 troy ounce; 0.01 lot of silver equals 50 troy ounces. The same number of lots does not mean the same notional value or risk. Floating P/L changes with the valuation quote, and the realised P/L booked on closing must be checked together with fees and settlement records.
3Trading sessions and daily settlement
Quoting hours, trading hours, the daily break, funding hours and customer service hours are all separate. The server time zone may differ from Hong Kong time, and daylight-saving time, holidays and maintenance may change sessions. Check the parameter table and current announcements, and note whether server or Hong Kong time is used when keeping evidence.
During breaks or market closures you may not be able to open, modify, cancel or close positions; existing positions may still incur charges and gap risk when the market reopens. Whether a position held over the settlement time is charged follows the actual fee arrangements, not whether your terminal is open or the position has been held for 24 hours.
4Orders and execution status
Submitted, accepted, triggered, partly filled, fully filled, rejected, cancelled and expired are different statuses. After acting, check the final confirmation, filled volume and remaining active volume. For requests with unclear status, check your records before the next step to avoid duplicate exposure.
One order may result in several deals; any remainder after a partial fill is handled under the fill policy allowed for that product. The requested price, trigger price and actual fill price may differ. Understand the applicable execution rules before trading, and don’t treat network delay or a missing notification as “not filled”.
5Market, limit and stop orders
Market orders ask to trade under executable conditions; in fast markets or thin liquidity they may suffer slippage, partial fills or rejection. Limit orders control the price you accept but may not fill; stop orders must first meet their condition and are then handled under their execution method.
The order types available to your account and their trigger, distance and fill conditions follow the applicable contract specifications. Distinguish limit requests that wait for a better price from stop orders that follow a breakout; don’t assume both have the same price protection just because both are “pending orders”.
6Stop loss, take profit and trailing stops
Stop loss and take profit must be accepted by the system and meet the relevant quote side and trigger condition. The level set is not a guaranteed fill price and does not cap your losses. Check the settings attached to your positions regularly, especially after adding or reducing positions, market reopening or changing orders.
Ordinary server-side stop loss and take profit are different from trailing stops, EAs or other programs that rely on a running terminal. Closing the terminal may stop automatic adjustments; ordinary stops already set are still handled under server rules. Check features, account permissions and the required environment against the platform instructions.
7Modification, cancellation, distance and expiry
Modifications and cancellations must be accepted by the system; until processed, the original order may still trigger or fill. Minimum distance, price increment, freeze level, order expiry and weekend/holiday handling follow the relevant parameters. If you see messages such as invalid price, invalid stops or unable to modify, check the reason before trying again.
Expiry of a pending order, clearing at market close or closing of the related position may make the original instruction invalid; handling of orders and of stops attached to positions should be confirmed separately. After the market reopens, check all positions and pending instructions, and don’t assume earlier settings are kept permanently.
8Margin, balance and equity
Margin supports open positions; it is not the total contract value, the minimum deposit or a cap on losses. The calculation may involve contract size, price, leverage or a fixed amount; see the applicable parameters for the actual method and conditions for change.
Balance, equity, used margin, free margin and withdrawable amount serve different purposes. Equity usually includes floating P/L and other specified items; free margin also deducts margin used by positions; the withdrawable amount may also be affected by unsettled charges, fund status and withdrawal limits. Check each against your account’s definitions.
9Risk levels and stop-out
Check the formula, threshold, closing order and special-period arrangements for each of the warning, margin call and stop-out levels, and don’t mix up the percentages of different measures. When the applicable conditions are met, the Company or system may, under the current agreement, restrict new positions, reduce positions or stop out. See the parameter table and account documents for the exact triggers.
Market gaps, liquidity and processing delays may affect the actual closing time and price. An undelivered notice or a top-up in transit does not automatically pause the risk mechanism, and a stop-out does not guarantee a negative balance is avoided. Whether negative balance protection exists, and on what terms, must have a clear contractual basis.
10Volume, hedging and closing positions
Per-order maximums, total position limits, whether pending orders count towards limits and how same-direction or two-way positions are aggregated follow the rules of your approved account. Splitting orders does not by itself avoid total position limits.
First check your account’s position mode: in netting mode, an opposite trade may reduce, close or reverse the existing position; in hedging mode, an opposite order may open a separate new position. Locked positions may still use margin and incur costs. After closing one side, directional risk and margin use may change; don’t mistake a new opposite position for the original position having ended.
11Swaps, currency conversion and adjustments
Swaps are calculated on the actual product, position direction, volume, settlement time and charging unit. Multi-day charging and holiday arrangements are set out in the current fee schedule; charges quoted as annual rates, points or amounts per lot cannot be combined directly.
If the deposit, withdrawal or fee currency differs from the account currency, exchange rates and conversion spreads may apply. Check the applicable source, timing and fees. Any account adjustment should be checked by item and amount against the records available; if you find an unexplained deduction, you may ask for the basis within the applicable scope.
12Deposits and same-name requirements
Only use the payee, currency, channel, reference number and instructions shown in the official Client Portal for this deposit. For bank transfers, use a paying account that matches the trading account holder and registered details. The Company does not accept deposits from, or make withdrawals to, third-party bank accounts; other channels require the applicable ownership checks.
The payment debit, submitting a screenshot, receipt by the payee and crediting of the trading account are different stages. Keep your proof of payment and complete the necessary checks; only funds that have become available in the account can support positions under the rules. Until the result is clear, make an enquiry rather than paying again.
13Withdrawals, channel changes and returned funds
Withdrawals are requested in the official Client Portal; check the receiving details, amount, currency and withdrawable balance. Bank withdrawals require a same-name receiving account, and other approved channels require ownership checks. Open positions, floating P/L, fees, the payment route and necessary checks may affect processing. Request acceptance, remittance by the Company and actual arrival should be checked separately; check processing hours and estimated times against the current fund rules.
Changing your receiving account or using a different channel requires the necessary checks first. Whether a cancellation can be accepted depends on the actual status; remitted funds may not be cancellable. If a withdrawal fails or is returned, check where the funds are, re-crediting and any external fees using the original request number, and avoid duplicate requests or payments. If third-party funds were used by mistake, contact us to verify; handling follows the law and the current agreement.
14Transfers between your own accounts
Only where the Company explicitly offers and approves it may clients request transfers between their own approved accounts. Check the source account, target account, currency and transferable amount; a transfer out may lower the source account’s margin level, and an incoming transfer cannot be treated as received until processing is complete. Account transfers are not closing trades or permission to pay or receive funds for third parties.
15Digital-asset channels (if applicable)
Only use them when they are explicitly offered in the official Client Portal and apply to you. Each time, check the asset, network, address, any required memo, fees and confirmation conditions, and cooperate with identity, wallet ownership and source-of-funds checks. Transfers to the wrong network or address may be difficult to recover.
On-chain broadcast, transaction confirmation, receipt checks by the Company and crediting of the account are different statuses. Network congestion, issuer or service-provider restrictions and de-pegging may affect processing and amounts. Digital-asset channels do not change the risks of margin trading itself, and client identity, account or wallet ownership and lawful source of funds must still be verified.
16Automated trading and third-party authorisation
EAs, external tools, copy trading and third-party authorisation must comply with the applicable account policy. Successful operation, historical backtests or other people’s records do not indicate future profits, nor do they mean the Company endorses a particular strategy or operator. Any permitted authorisation should clearly state its scope, permissions, fees, duration and how to revoke it. Clients should never share passwords or verification codes.
17System problems and backup contact
If you lose connection, quotes freeze or you cannot act, note the time and time zone, symbol, order, error message and any necessary screenshots, then report through the published official channels. After reconnecting, check your fills and positions first rather than repeating the original instruction. The backup contact channel is [approved channel].
A customer service message, a chat marked as read or a connected phone call does not mean a trading instruction has been accepted. Manual or phone dealing only applies where explicitly offered and the verification and acceptance conditions are met; actual execution must still be checked against the formal confirmation.
18Review of unusual trading
In cases of erroneous quotes, duplicate fills, unauthorised activity or other irregularities, the Company reviews the relevant facts and records under applicable law and the current agreement. Clients may submit explanations through the official process and, within what may be disclosed, ask about the orders involved, the basis for handling and how to appeal. A review in itself does not mean a violation has been established; any handling of rights or funds must have a proper basis.
19Statements, codes and record keeping
Keep records of orders, deals, positions, commission or swaps, deposits, withdrawals and transfers separately. Order numbers, deal numbers and fund request numbers serve different purposes; provide the relevant number when making an enquiry, and use the same account, currency, period and time basis.
The scope of trading codes and how to obtain and query them follow the current instructions. Registration or code verification does not mean orders are matched directly on the exchange, nor that the exchange holds client money, guarantees returns or is responsible for the Company’s performance.
20Record disputes and complaints
If you dispute a quote, fill, fee or fund record, submit as soon as possible through official channels your account details, the relevant numbers, the date and time zone, the disputed item, the amount and what you want reviewed, with any necessary statements or screenshots. Keep records of your submission and replies, and don’t provide passwords, verification codes or unrelated complete ID documents.
Clients can check acceptance and later progress; processing times and further channels are set out in [approved complaints procedure and contact details]. Raising a dispute does not automatically cancel orders, stop charges or pause position risk. You should still be aware of and comply with any applicable legal or contractual time limits.
21Changes, account termination and outstanding matters
Where rules or fees change, the Company will notify the version, effective date, applicable accounts and the effect on existing positions in accordance with applicable law and the client agreement. If different web pages, account details or notices differ, check with us before acting.
Before applying to close or stop using an account, check your positions, pending instructions, fund requests, fees and any refundable amounts. Closing an account does not automatically remove concluded trades, lawful outstanding obligations or record-keeping requirements; termination and fund arrangements follow the current agreement and applicable law.
